When we are logging-in or signing-up, after filling our credentials when we press enter. Then a confirm box pops up, asking of do you want to save password or not. So if you press save, then it keeps the credentials in your browser’s password section. And by clicking no, you deny it to save the password of that site. And also, that site got listed in the never saved list. So in this article, I will tell you how to manage saved passwords in chrome desktop and android.
There is a dedicated Google Password Manager available to manage saved passwords, which linked to your google account. If you are using the same Google account in your desktop chrome browser and android chrome browser. Then you will find every password, which you have saved in your desktop and mobile browser in the password manager.
Before we get into the procedure, I want to tell you that you can only view and delete the saved passwords. And also export saved passwords in the browser.
If you want to edit the saved passwords, then you have to go into the Google password manager.
So before, I will tell you how to manage saved passwords in Google password manager.
I want to tell you how to view, delete and export saved passwords in chrome desktop and android.
Manage Saved Passwords in Chrome Desktop Browser
Before everything, you have to go into the password setting, by following the below steps.
Click on gravatar on the top right corner and then click on that key. When you hover on that key, you will see the passwords.
Enter the above code in your new tab to open password settings.
View Saved Passwords
When you come into the password setting, you will see the all saved password listed down in it beneath the label of the ‘Saved Passwords’.
Click on three dots right after the any listed site.
You will see the three options, in it click on details.
Now you will see the website address, username and password.
Remove Saved Password
Click on that three dots in the last of any particular site.
Click on the remove, and the saved password related to that site will get removed.
Edit Saved Password
For edit your any saved password, you have to go to Google password manager.
In the browser’s password setting, you will see an option of view and manage saved passwords in your Google account.
Click on that ‘Google account’. And it will redirect you to your linked Google password manager.
After it, follow the below steps, which I have mentioned in how to edit your saved passwords in the Google password manager.

Manage Saved Passwords in Chrome Android Browser
Before, we will get into the procedure. I want to guide you to password settings in android chrome browser.
Open the browser.
Click on those three dots on the top right corner.
Now click on settings, in it click on passwords.

In the password setting page, you will see your saved passwords below the blue written ‘Passwords’.
Click on any listed site. You will see in it, site name, username and password.
Delete Saved Passwords in Chrome Android
After opening any result, you will see a trash box on the top right corner.
Click on that, and it will remove the saved password.
Edit Saved Password in Chrome Android
For making any changes in any saved password, you have to go to your Google password manager.
You can directly go-to password manager, by clicking on view and manage saved passwords in your ‘Google account’.

In the Google password manager, you can edit, delete your saved passwords. You can remove those site which you have denied earlier to save passwords. Also, you can export your saved password list to use it on another device.

So when you land in your password section, you will see plenty of sites. Of which you have saved password to edit any of the saved passwords follow the below procedure.
But before you get into the process, I want to tell you that, whenever you click on any site in password manager to edit the details. It will ask you to enter your account password, not every time but most of the time, to verify you.
Click on your preferred site to change its password.
A new page will open up. In it, you will see the site name written on top in big letters. Beneath it, you will see the user name or email id, which you have used for that site. And below it, you will see the password in the masked form which you have used for that account. Same as below image.
Now click on edit to change the saved password.
You will see a small box will pop up in it, you will see the username and password.
Now change the details, which you want to change, and click on save button.
The opened box will vanish, and you will see the changes in your earlier saved details.
Delete Saved Password in Password Manager
For deleting any saved password, you have to follow the same steps and as I told you above. And when you click on a specific website to change its saved details. On that page, you will see two buttons, one for edit and second is to delete those details.
So when you click on the delete button, it will confirm you. By asking do you want to delete your particular site password and blah blah. If you want to delete it, click on the delete button. Same as below image.
Remove Denied Sites
So if you want to remove any site, which you have declined google to save the password for it. You can also do it by following the below procedure.
On the password manager page, click on that gear sign on the top right. See the below image.
A new page will open you will first see some settings, and beneath it, you will see the number of sites which you denied.
Scroll down to that site which you want to remove from this list. And click on that arrow button in the last of that site names column. See the below image.
Export Saved Passwords List
If you want to export the list of the saved password. Then click on that gear icon in the password manager, follow the above steps.
After it, you will see an Export button, beneath the two toggle button. See the below image.
When you click on that button, again it will pop up a warning of your password will visible to everyone who will see the file. If you are privacy concern and can save your file, then click on export, otherwise deny it.
